Professional History
Prior to joining Flanagan Law, APC, Karen served as a certified community association manager for over twenty years.
Karen previously served as a Paralegal at a HOA law firm for six years working in assessments collections and processing of debtors’ accounts in bankruptcy. Karen previously served as a collections supervisor at a law firm representing loan servicers in ten states with processing of creditor filings for debtors in bankruptcy.
Karen is a veteran of the United States Army serving as Sergeant in a Field Artillery battalion.

Karen is a Notary Public with the State of California since 2013.
Karen obtained the professional designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations with Community Association Managers International Certification Board in 2018. Karen previously held the professional designation of Certified Community Association Manager with the California Association of Community Managers for over twenty years.
Karen is a member of Mensa International and San Diego Mensa since 2020. Karen is a Guardian Circle donor with the San Diego Blood Bank.
